Ruggedised IoT Delta Pressure Sensor
The Urban.io Delta Pressure Sensor measures the microthermal change as a gas flows across two points in an internal chamber which is digitally translated into the difference in gas pressure on either side of a barrier such as a filter.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Delta Pressure Sensor will read and transmit pressure levels to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.
Measured data is securely displayed within the Urban.io Cloud Platform for reporting purposes. Through the use of dynamic profiles, thresholds can be set for each sensor which can trigger alarms that can be sent via email or SMS.
All recorded sensor data, historical summaries and alarms are made available for use within external software platforms via the IoT Data API.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Delta Pressure sensor averages multiple samples of gas flow fed by two hoses to provide readings to 0.1 Pa accuracy between a pressure range of -500 to +500 Pa.
Ruggedised Activty Sensor
The Urban.io Activity Sensor uses an infrared sensor to detect movements made by people / animals within 3 to 5 m of the Sensor.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Activity Sensor will read and transmit activity to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Activity Sensor detects activity, motion and movement using infrared technology. The Activity Sensor counts the movement it’s infrared sensor detects, over a ten minute heatbeat period and transmits the total to the platform, via the Gateway.
Ruggedised IoT Current Sensor
The Urban.io Current Sensor is designed to interface with an Urban.io variable range Current Transformer (CT) and measure the applicable current draw. The CTs are available available in two configurable variants that range from 0 – 10A, 0 – 20A or 0 – 50A and from 0 – 100A, 0 – 150A or 0 – 200A.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Current Sensor will read and transmit current measurements to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

The Urban.io Current Sensor measures the electrical output from a configurable Urban.io CT and translates this into a Current value, to an accuracy of 10 milliamps.

The Urban.io Humidity Sensor allows you to accurately monitor the relative humidity of the air within a room or enclosure.

The Urban.io Humidity Sensor measures the relative humidity of the air around the device.
Ruggedised IoT Light Sensor
The Urban.io IoT Light Sensor detects and reports the intensity of light in lux within indoor environments.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Light Sensor will read and transmit light levels to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Light Sensor uses a photoresistor to detect the intensity of light around the device. The sensor returns a value between 10 and 1000 lux making it suitable for detection of light levels within indoor environments.
NOTE: this sensor is not suitable for outdoor light level measurement beyond 1000 lux.
Ruggedised IoT Meter Count Sensor
The Urban.io Meter Count Sensor can be integrated with a system (water meter, power meter, etc.) that provides an electrical pulse output interface to count the number of actuations within a given frame.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Meter Count Sensor will read and transmit the count of output pulses to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Meter Counter is an electronic counter capable of counting passive (open/closed switch) or active pulses. Every 10 minutes the sensor will send all measured data to the Gateway which will then relay this data back to the Urban.io Cloud.
Ruggedised IoT Moisture Sensor
The Urban.io Flood Sensor alerts you to the potential damage that can result from flooding or leaks. Place this sensor anywhere flooding or faulty plumbing could cause a problem. This sensor can also be used to detect a lack of water, and also relative levels of moisture at the location of the probe endpoint.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io IoT Gateway the Flood Sensor will read and transmit the relative % of conductivity, indicating how much moisture is apparent, to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Moisture Sensor detects when moisture is present by measuring conductivity between the two prongs at the end of it’s probe.
When moisture is present the sensor will immediately turn on and transmit the data to the gateway. The sensor can also detect and report the relative level of moisture over time.
Ruggedised IoT Motion Sensor
The Urban.io Motion Sensor uses an infrared sensor to accurately detect movements made by people / animals within 3 to 5 m range.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Motion Sensor will read and transmit motion to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Motion Detection Sensor detects motion and movement using infrared technology. When the sensor detects movement it communicates transmit the data to the sensor gateway.
Ruggedised On/Off Sensor
The Urban.io On/Off Sensor can be used to detect electrical contact between two wired points, an external mechanical switch, relay, contact plate or low voltage control interface.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the On/Off Sensor will read and transmit the open or closed state of the electrical interface to the Urban.io IoT Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io On/Off sensor samples every 30 seconds for electrical contact between the two end points. If there is no change it will report the state as a normal upon the default 10 minute interval.
If a change is detected it will send a priority message through to the cloud platform to indicate the electrical interface has changed state.

Ruggedised IoT Process Loop Sensor
The Urban.io Process Loop Sensor measures the current on a 4-20 mA industrial control loop or industrial sensor and reports the mA value as a percentage (%).
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Process Loop Sensor will read and transmit the percentage (%) to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis, where it can be configured to translate the reading into a specific range value and displayed with custom units.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Process Loop Sensor is wired in series with an existing 4-20mA sensor and “piggy-back” measures the mA value in that sensor loop. This alows the Process Loop Sensor to mimic and report the values being read by an isolated or remote industrial sensor that is not connected to a SCADA or analytics platform.
Ruggedised IoT Temperature Sensor
The Urban.io Temperature Sensor allows you to accurately monitor the temperature of the air within a room, enclosure or open space.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Temperature Sensor will read and transmit the current ambient temperature to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Temperature Sensor measures temperature in degrees celsius every 10 minutes and sends the results to the server.
Ruggedised IoT Temperature Probe Sensor
The Urban.io Temperature Probe Sensor allows you to accurately monitor the temperature of a surface or inside an air vent, cool room, freezer or other enclosed space.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Temperature Probe Sensor will read and transmit the measured thermistor temperature to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

The Temperature Probe Sensor measures temperature at the end of the probe, in degrees celsius every 10 minutes and then sends the measured result to the cloud.
Ruggedised IoT Vibration Sensor
The Urban.io Vibration Sensor measures relative movement (acceleration) in three (XYZ) axis, giving the user the maximum amplitude of movement in each dimension. In addition the sensor will process the time wave form of each sample, to identify the frequencies at which peak values occur.
Used in conjunction with an Urban.io Gateway the Vibration Sensor will read and transmit XYZ movement amplitude and frequency peak values to the Urban.io Cloud Platform on a near real-time basis.

Sensor Operation
The Urban.io Vibration Sensor samples acceleration every 10 minutes. Time domain samples are converted to speed, then converted to frequency domain. The sensor reports the frequency and amplitude values for the top ten points in each of the X, Y and Z dimensions. Aditionally the total amplitude for each dimension is also reported.
